Every piece of timber that comes off a mill has offcuts. The bits that do not fit the spec. Too short for the beam, too narrow for the joist. They get swept into a pile and most of the time, thrown out.
But anyone who has worked with their hands knows — the offcuts are the good bits. The mill just did not know what to do with them.
Two piles
We started Offcut Supply Co. because we kept noticing the same thing in two completely different worlds.
On site: FIFO workers spending weeks away from home, running on four hours sleep and crib room banter that only makes sense if you have been there. The kind of humour that does not translate to a Hallmark card.
Online: Neurodivergent people making jokes about their own brains — the 40 open tabs, the time blindness, the hyperfocus rabbit holes — with a warmth and honesty that mainstream merch never gets right. Because mainstream merch slaps a label on it and calls it a personality.
What we actually do
We print things. Tees, mugs, posters. Made to order in Brisbane and Melbourne. No warehouse, no overstock, no landfill.
The designs come from the inside of these worlds, not from someone observing them from a marketing desk. If the joke needs explaining, we kill the joke. If the tone drifts into inspiration-poster territory, we kill that too.
We are a shop, not a movement. We do not want to empower you. We just want to make something you actually want to wear.
Cut different. On purpose.
